If you connect your phone number to any Google services, you may automatically be registered with Google Meet calling. If you want, you can delete your Meet calling account. If you want to use Meet again later, you must register again. Know if your phone number is connected to Google services.
Important:
- If you delete your calling account, you permanently lose your Meet calling history.
- If you uninstall the app then reinstall it and sign in, your calling history remains.

Delete & uninstall Meet
Step 1: Delete your Meet calling account
Important:
- When you delete your Meet calling account, it completely disconnects from your phone number or Google Account.
- If you delete your calling account, you delete your settings and calling history. Once you register for Meet calling again, blocked phone numbers are no longer blocked.
- On your Android device, open Meet .
- Tap More Settings Calling settings.
- Tap Delete calling account Delete.
Step 2: Uninstall Meet
Important: On some devices, if it’s pre-installed, you can’t uninstall Meet.
If you've uninstalled the app, you can wait 40 days for Meet to be automatically disconnected.
Uninstall Meet on your Android device:
- Go to your device's Home screen.
- Touch and hold the Meet icon .
- Tap Info.
- Tap Uninstall OK.

To unlink Meet from your Google Home:
- Open Home app .
- Tap the Google Home device you want to remove Meet from
- in the upper right, tap Settings .
- Under Device features, tap Voice calls .
- Tap Unlink Meet from this device Unlink.
