You can get a weather forecast with Pixel Weather, including a customizable detail page, notifications, and summary.
You can also get other information like:
- 10-day forecast
- Air quality index (AQI)
- Humidity
- Weather map

- To get more accurate weather info, enable location permission for Pixel Weather. Learn how to manage location permissions for apps.
Weather units.On Pixel devices, notifications from Google are turned on by default. This includes notifications for current weather conditions and weather forecasts. To get all important updates from Pixel Weather, disable Google’s weather notifications.
To simplify your Weather notifications:
- Open your device’s Settings app.
- Go to Apps
- Turn off Current weather conditions and Weather forecasts.
- This will ensure that you don’t receive similar notifications from both Google and Pixel Weather.
You can check the weather in your current location or saved locations.
To add a location:
- On the Pixel Weather home screen, tap Add
.
- Search the location name or by area or zip code.
- Select the location you want to add.
- The location automatically saves and appears on your list of saved locations.
To delete a saved location, in the locations list view, swipe the location name to the left.
A summary of the weather forecast for your location is provided by the AI weather report. The summary of the weather forecast is AI-generated and only available on Pixel 9 and later, in English. Learn more about Google's GenAI policies.
When there are weather alerts for extreme or dangerous events, the AI Weather Report will not show and the alert will be at the top of the page.
To disable the feature:
- In Pixel Weather, go to Saved locations.
- At the top left, tap on User
- In the dialog box, tap Turn off.
To adjust the weather blocks:
- Touch and hold the block you want to move.
- Drag it to your preferred placement on the app.
You can select a map to see a 6-hour precipitation forecast.
Important: Weather Map is only available in the US, UK and most EU countries excluding Italy and Luxembourg.
- You can move around the map and scroll the timeline at the bottom to see changes over time.
