Use the Pixel Slate Keyboard

Pixel Slate Keyboard (sold separately) is a full-size, backlit folio keyboard with ultra-quiet Hush™ Keys and an extra large trackpad. Plus, it's infinitely adjustable for laptop, tablet, entertainment mode, and more.

Note: Pixel Slate, Pixel Slate Keyboard, and Pixelbook Pen are no longer sold by Google.

Attach Pixel Slate Keyboard

To attach, simply align the Quick Snap Connectors on your Pixel Slate and Pixel Slate Keyboard. They'll pull together and hold firmly. Once the keyboard is successfully connected, your Pixel Slate will default to laptop mode with the screen oriented horizontally. No need to charge or pair the Pixel Slate Keyboard.

Adjust the keyboard folio

Once you attach Pixel Slate to the Pixel Slate Keyboard, use the folio slider to adjust the position for however you're using it, such as:

Note: When folding the keyboard under, make sure all sides of the folio are fully aligned. This will disable both the keys and trackpad to prevent any accidental typing. If your keyboard is not disabled or you’re still in laptop mode when your keyboard is folded under, adjust the keyboard slightly to make sure the folio edges are aligned.
