Templates support automated campaign management, and allows you to apply other automation capabilities in the new Search Ads 360, such as bid strategies, automated rules, and scheduled edits to template-generated campaigns.
You can create templates in any supported advertising platform for any client account as long as the sub-manager is linked to at least one feed. For example, you can use a single feed to generate campaigns, ad groups, and creatives that display and update dynamically (based on formulas defined in templates) across multiple advertising platforms.
The following table describes the template types and supported advertising platforms (all ticked):

Templates and advertising platform limits
Within each client account, you can generate up to the maximum number of campaigns, ads, keywords, and other items that the the advertising platform supports. (Go to an advertising platform's help center for information on the maximum number of items you can create.)
Each time a template is evaluated, the new Search Ads 360 determines the number of items the template outputs. If the output exceeds the advertising platform limits, the new Search Ads 360 does not create any new items. Instead, the new Search Ads 360 creates a template output error, which you can review and fix. Generally, you need to create additional client accounts and narrow your templates’ scope, so they create fewer items.
Example
- An advertising platform can contain up to 10,000 campaigns.
- You've already created 8,000 campaigns on the advertising platform.
- The new Search Ads 360 evaluates your template and determines that 3,000 campaigns should be created.
- Because these new campaigns would exceed the advertising platform’s limit, the new Search Ads 360 doesn't create any new campaigns in the advertising platform.
