The phone-through rate (PTR) is the number of phone calls received by your Google forwarding number divided by the number of times your phone number is shown in call extensions and call-only ads. The Phone through rate is similar to the click through rate, but applies to call-only ads only.
Here's the equation that calculates the phone through rate using column names:
PTR = Phone calls/Phone impressions
Only applicable if you've created at least one call extension or call-only ads.
- Navigate to a Google Ads engine account, campaign, or ad group.
- Click the Campaigns or Ad groups tab.
- Click the Columns button above the performance summary graph.
- Next to Available columns, type the column name in the search box and press the Enter key.
- Click + next to the column name in the Available columns list.
- Click Apply.
