The overall process for creating and uploading dynamic ad groups in Search Ads 360:
- Download an editable report (bulksheet) that contains Google Ads campaigns that are set up for Dynamic Search Ads.
- In the downloaded bulksheet, create dynamic ad groups and apply them to the campaigns.
- Upload the bulksheet.
The process for using a bulksheet to create standard ad groups in Google Ads campaigns is similar to the process for creating dynamic ad groups.

Do either of the following to select DSA-enabled campaigns that you want to update:
- Select the checkbox next to the DSA-enabled campaigns.
- Filter the table to display only the DSA-enabled that you want.
-
Above the reporting table, click the download icon .
-
In the Download report panel, under Include types, the Campaigns check box is selected by default.
Select the Ad groups check box.
-
Select any of the other options that you want. However, it's not necessary to change the pre-selected options. For example, under Columns, don't change the Editable columns (for re-upload) selection.
-
Click Download.
Search Ads 360 generates the report and either downloads the file to your browser's download directory or sends an email, depending on the delivery option you selected.
If you selected to download a report and the report is very large, it may take a while for Search Ads 360 to generate the report. You can still use Search Ads 360 while the report is generating. A status bar indicates the progress of the report generation. When it's complete, a Download link appears in the status bar. Click the link to download the report.
Create dynamic ad groups in campaigns
In the downloaded report/bulksheet:
-
Copy an existing ad group row to a blank row.
-
In each new ad group row, edit the information in the ad group columns. For example, in the Ad group type column, enter Dynamic.
You don't need to remove the Ad group ID column in a copied row. Search Ads 360 will create an ID for the new ad group. - Save the bulksheet and then upload it into Search Ads 360.
