When you buy a new Pixel device, you can get credit when you trade in your old device through Google Store. Trade-in through Google Store is available in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, Spain, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
After you add a trade-in to a new item order, the trade-in process starts.
- You’ll receive your new item and a trade-in kit.
- You can track your Google Store shipments.
- If you don't receive your trade-in kit when you get your new item, contact customer support.
- The trade-in offer for the item that you currently have expires 30 days after you get your new one.
- If you send your item more than 30 days after you get your new one, the value might go down because the market value changes. The market value is based on the trade-in terms and conditions.
- Ship your trade-in item.
- After your trade-in item is received, it’s usually checked within 5 business days. You’ll get an email with the results.
- You’ll receive your refund.
- You’ll get a credit to the form of payment used for your newly bought item. Credit card refunds might take up to 14 business days to apply to your card.
- If the trade-in value credit exceeds the value of your Pixel, the excess amount is provided as Google Store credit.
