Use this article to track non-Campaign Manager 360 elements with an impression pixel and click tracker. These are elements that are not served by the Campaign Manager 360 ad servers, such as site-served creatives or hard-coded text links.

Steps for tracking
Track clicks and impressionsFor each element you want to track, follow these steps:

Create a display placement with 1x1-pixel dimensions. The placement should be created in Campaign Manager 360 for the site which has the element you want to track.

Add a display creative with an image asset.
Upload a transparent 1x1-pixel GIF or JPEG as your image asset. Your new creative will automatically be used to create the default ad that's assigned to all 1x1-pixel placements in your campaign. Note that you only need to do this step once per campaign. The default ad will automatically be assigned to any new 1x1-pixel placements you create.

Create a click tracker ad in your campaign.

Assign the click tracker to the placement you created in Step 1.

Generate tags for your placement. Export standard tags and click tracker tags.

Follow steps to organize your tags:.

Edit the standard tags before you send them to the publisher. Remove the
<A HREF...>
tag, and send only the<IMG SRC...>
tag. Tell the publisher to implement the standard tag so that it will be called each time the item you're tracking is displayed to a user. -
Tell the publisher to implement the click tracker tag so that it will be called each time a user clicks on the item you're tracking.
