You can connect several Bluetooth devices like headphones or speakers to your Chromecast with Google TV and Google TV Streamer (4K). After setup, you can connect to your devices with Fast Pair. You can only connect one audio device at a time.
Pair a Bluetooth device
Before you begin, make sure your device is in pairing mode and visible to other devices.
- From the home screen on your TV, select your Google Account All Settings .
- Select Remote & Accessories Pair remote or accessory.
- Select the device you want to pair from the list shown.
- On the Bluetooth pairing request screen, select Pair.
- Accessories you’ve paired to your device appear in the “Remote & Accessories” section of Settings, where you can rename or forget devices.
Alternatively, to pair your bluetooth device to the Google TV Streamer, you can press and hold the button at the back of the Google TV Streamer for 5 to 10 seconds. Once activated, a confirmation message appears on-screen.
Connect Fast Pair devices
Note: Fast Pair only applies to compatible devices like certain headphones.
Some Bluetooth devices (such as certain headphones and speakers) support Fast Pair, which simplifies the pairing process. To connect these devices, put your Bluetooth device into pairing mode. When your device appears on your Google streaming device, use the remote to select Connect.
- For Pixel Buds, check the pairing instructions in the Help Center.
- For other devices, check the user manual for specific instructions.
After you’ve paired a Fast Pair-enabled accessory, it automatically detects and connects to your streaming device. Fast Pair also associates your Bluetooth accessory with your Google Account. You can easily pair them to other devices and switch between devices.
Fast Pair devices that have previously been paired to other devices synced to your Google Account will automatically show in a notification when they detect a compatible device.
- Use your remote to follow the directions on screen to connect your device.
