Bidding

Enter the amount you're willing to spend on a campaign each day. Note that Search Ads 360 itself does not use this setting to control your spend. Instead, the setting is posted to Microsoft Advertising, and Microsoft Advertising uses the setting to control spend.

By default, your ad group uses the bid strategy of the campaign it belongs to. If your campaign is using a Target CPA or Target ROAS bid strategy, you can set a specific target CPA or ROAS for your ad group.

Start and end dates Specify the start and end dates for this ad group. If you don't set an end date, your ads will continue to run.
Ad rotation

If you create more than one ad in a Microsoft Advertising campaign or ad group, Microsoft Advertising can either rotate through the ads evenly or predominantly show ads that have the highest click-through rate (CTR). Click one of the following rotation options:

  • Optimize: Shows better-performing ads more frequently.

  • Rotate: Shows all ads the same amount regardless of their performance, and does so for an indefinite amount of time without ever optimizing.

If neither option is selected when you view this setting, either sync the account to see which option is currently selected in Microsoft Advertising, or choose an option and save your changes.

Locations

By default, ads in Microsoft Advertising campaigns are eligible to display in the United States, Canada, and other countries, but you can choose specific locations for the ads to appear.

Microsoft Advertising location targets that you create in Search Ads 360 apply to the following groups:

  • People in, or who show interest in, your targeted locations
  • People in or regularly in your targeted locations
  • People searching for your targeted locations.

To change these options for a location target, sign into Microsoft Advertising. Learn more in the Microsoft Advertising Help center .

By default, your ad group uses the location targets of the campaign it belongs to. To override these settings for your ad group, enter a location to target or exclude.

After you have created your ad group, use this setting to specify an ad group tracking template or a final URL suffix to use for tracking purposes.
