A search campaign shows text ads on search results pages when a customer searches the web. Ads are matched to search results pages based on the terms or phrases someone searches. In the new Search Ads 360, you can create search campaigns for the following advertising platforms:
- Google Ads
- Microsoft Advertising
- Yahoo! JAPAN Ads
- Baidu

This article explains how to create a search campaign with ad groups, ads, and assets.
Instructions
- From the page menu on the left, click Campaigns.
- Click the plus button .
- Select an account.
- (Google Ads only) Select an objective for your campaign.
- Under "Select a campaign type," select Search and then click Continue.
- Select campaign settings.
- Click Save and Continue.
Search Ads 360 saves the campaign and shows ad group settings. If you've created a Microsoft Advertising campaign, Search Ads 360 posts your new campaign to Microsoft Advertising. - Set up ad groups. Before you can create ads, you need to create at least one ad group in a search campaign. For best results, create an ad group for each product or service you're advertising.
- Specify ad group settings.
- Enter keywords to match the terms or phrases someone searches. You can add more keywords and ad groups later.
- Click Save and continue. Search Ads 360 saves the ad group and keywords. In the background, Search Ads 360 posts the ad group and keywords to the account.
- Create ads. Be sure to create at least one ad in each ad group.
- Google Ads only: Add your final URL, at least 3 headlines, and at least 2 descriptions.
- Add assets to your campaign. Ad assets expand your ads and give people more reasons to click on them. These assets add useful business data below your ad - such as locations, additional links, prices, and more, depending on your advertising platform.
For Google Ads campaigns, the "Create ads page" displays a recommendation of ad assets related to your set goals. To view these assets, click More asset types. Learn how to Select assets to use.
In Search campaigns, ad assets are tied to specific marketing goals and will be featured more prominently based on the campaign's goal.- Ad assets can be information that gives the user an opportunity to learn more about your business.
- Ad assets can also be actions that invite the user to do more than visit the website. Some actions covered may be to call the business, submit a lead form, or view locations.
- Ad assets invite the user to gather more information about the business or extend interaction between the business and user.
- To add assets to a Microsoft Advertising or Yahoo! JAPAN Ads campaign, check how to Add more information to your ad.
- Click Done.
- Click Save and continue.
- Review your campaign summary, and then click Continue to campaign.
