Product Linking: Link Ads Creative Studio and Google Ads

This article provides you with an overview of Ads Creative Studio and how to link it to your Google Ads account.

What is Ads Creative Studio?

Ads Creative Studio is a creative management platform designed for creative teams. You can use it to build ads, manage creative assets and video projects and share them with media teams.

If you're working with a creative team who uses Ads Creative Studio, you can set up an account link so they can easily export creative assets and videos to your Google Ads account.

Permissions

To link Google Ads and Ads Creative Studio, you need a Google Account with administrative access to Google Ads.

How it works

After you set up an account link, users of the Ads Creative Studio account can export assets and videos to your Google Ads account. You can then use the assets and videos in your campaigns.

You can make changes to assets (for example, cropping images) and videos (for example, adding voiceover) after they're in Google Ads. Any changes you make in Google Ads won't affect the original asset or video in Ads Creative Studio.

Bear in mind: Linking accounts won't give the Ads Creative Studio account users access to view or edit your Google Ads account. Additionally, you and other users of your Google Ads account won't be able to add, edit or delete assets or videos in Ads Creative Studio.
