Product Linking: Link Hotel Center and Google Ads

When you link your Hotel Center account with your Google Ads account, you can use your travel feed data to power dynamic ad formats in Hotel campaigns and Performance Max for Travel Goals campaigns. This travel feed data can also enhance Search campaigns with Travel Feeds in Search Ads, which can increase click-through rate by up to 20% for advertisers who participate in the full range of Travel Feeds in Search Ads formats (Source: Google internal data, Global, 05 May, 2024 – 30 May, 2024). This article provides instructions on how to link and unlink your Google Ads and Hotel Center accounts.

Before you begin

To link your accounts, you'll need administrative access to a Google Ads account in Expert Mode and owner permissions in your Hotel Center account. To unlink an existing link from Google Ads, you'll need to have administrative access to a Google Ads account.

Note:

  • While a single Google Ads account can be linked to multiple Hotel Center accounts, it cannot be linked to the same Hotel Center account more than once. Similarly, a Hotel Center account can have multiple links to different Google Ads accounts but can only have one link to a specific Google Ads account.
  • You can link non-manager Google Ads accounts to Hotel Center in order to create Hotel campaigns, Performance Max for Travel Goals campaigns or serve Travel Feeds in Search ads.
  • You may only link Hotel Center to a Google Ads manager account to enable audience usage in Hotel Center rate rules. Learn more about rate rules & the <UserListId> attribute.
  • If you unlink your Hotel Center and Google Ads accounts, any Performance Max for Travel Goals or Hotel campaigns using a linked feed from Hotel Center will stop serving. Travel Feeds in Search Ads will also stop serving.
  • Paid booking link impressions, clicks, and CTR will be shown in the Overview section of the linked Hotel Center account. Learn more about Hotel Center Performance metrics.
